Round 1 Ray chips away at Clyde Turcotte with a series of kicks to the legs. "Surf Kumite" is hit with two hard punches to his face. "Surf Kumite" laughs off the punches. "Surf Kumite" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Clyde Turcotte reaches down and trips "Surf Kumite" with a beautiful ankle pick. Clyde Turcotte dives into back control. Montgomery carefully protects himself from Clydes strikes. "Surf Kumite" tries to escape out the back but Turcotte locks a crucifix, rolling "Surf Kumite" to his back. "Surf Kumite" is unable to defend against "Kumites" elbow strikes from the crucifix and he is knocked out cold.
