Round 1
Hubbard attempts a takedown but slips, and Ekkehardt Ritzel backs away. Ekkehardt Ritzel is standing over Hubbard. "The Pretzel" stands over Hubbard, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Hubbard is able to grab an arm and pull "The Pretzel" into his guard. Ekkehardt Ritzel drops a few strong punches, opening up Calebs guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Caleb Hubbard gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Ekkehardt Ritzel peppers "Dead Mother" with several shots to the face. Ekkehardt Ritzel tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ekkehardt Ritzel works Hubbard into the cage from the clinch. Ekkehardt Ritzel presses his head under "Dead Mothers" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Ekkehardt takes the back of Caleb who works for a kimura. Ekkehardt pulls his arm out of the hold and push Caleb away. Ritzel connects with a strong right hook. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Ekkehardt tries to hyperextend the knee of Caleb with a kick to the kneecap. Caleb hops back to avoid it. Ekkehardt takes Caleb down to the mat with a good double leg takedown, leading to him standing over Caleb. Ritzel pounces on "Dead Mother", but is met with a powerful upkick. Ritzel manages to land into side control though.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Ritzel tries to hyperextend the knee of Hubbard with a kick to the kneecap. Hubbard hops back to avoid it. Ekkehardt connects with a hard punch making Caleb Hubbard bring him in to a tight clinch. Ekkehardt is in the clinch with Caleb Hubbard, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Ekkehardt sits up in Caleb Hubbards open guard and spins to an leg lock. Caleb Hubbard is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Ritzel narrowly dodges a cross from "Dead Mother", but falls catching him in his guard. Ekkehardt dodges some ground strikes from Caleb, and sends a few back of his own. "The Pretzel" goes for a kimura from the bottom, but "Dead Mother" slips out at the last second. A triangle attempt from Ekkehardt is defended by Caleb Hubbard posturing high in the guard. Ekkehardt swiftly switches to an armbar. Caleb Hubbard taps quickly.
