Round 1 Cyrus begins to clinch with Cheezym, but Cheezym presses out of it burning up quite a bit of energy. Gad shoots in and executes a textbook single leg takedown, giving him side control. Cheezym takes a few knees to the body while under Cyruss side control. "The Virus" delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Oyenusi to turn over. "The Virus" takes the back. Cyrus is working a furious pace on Oyenusi, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. Cyrus Gad peppers shot to the head of Oyenusi looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Oyenusi is hand playing well. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "The Virus" feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping "Spidey". "The Virus" dives into guard. Cyrus pulls out of the guard of Cheezym, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Cheezym. Cheezym Oyenusi slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Gad grabs a guillotine hold and forces Cheezym Oyenusi back down gaining side control. "Spidey" takes a few knees to the body while under Cyrus Gads side control. Cyrus slides his knee across the body of Oyenusi and takes full mount. Cyrus executes a double hand slap to the ears of Cheezym. "Spidey" pulls his leg out from under Cyrus and gets back to half guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Cyrus Gad reaches down and trips Cheezym with a beautiful ankle pick. Cyrus Gad dives into back control. Gad lands a double punch to the head of Oyenusi. "Spidey" starts to wiggle out of back control, Cyrus Gad lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Gad wraps around Oyenusis waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control "The Virus" slides his knee across the body of Cheezym and takes full mount. "The Virus" punishes Cheezym Oyenusi with a series of strikes from the mount. Cheezym kicks off a leg and finds space off to the side and wraps around the body of Cyrus getting his back. Round 3 is finished.
