Round 1 "Kumite" chips away at Santiago Requiao with a series of kicks to the legs. Santiago Requiao pushes away from Cole and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Santiago parries a jab but is caught by a strong leg kick. Requiao throws a hard leg kick but is checked by "Kumite". Branden Cole winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Branden Cole dodges a jab and lands a kick to the face of Requiao. Santiago throws a few jabs at Branden that miss the mark. Branden Cole strikes with a straight front kick. Cole connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Branden Cole connects with a jab cross combination. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Requiao hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Santiago weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. "Kumite" locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Santiago. Branden Cole grabs the plum and pulls Santiagos face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Branden Cole lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Requiao parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Cole dances around Santiagos legs and throws a hard kick to the body. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Cole sends Requiao to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Santiago begins to posture on his side. Branden lands a couple of outside hooks and Santiago returns to the guard. "Kumite" passes through Requiaos guard into mount. Santiago Requiao gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cole peppers Santiago with several shots to the face. Santiago Requiao starts to wiggle out of back control, Branden Cole lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Requiao connects with a hard punch making Branden Cole bring him in to a tight clinch. Requiao is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Cole grabs the plum and pulls Santiagos face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Cole lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "Kumite" parries Santiagos jab and connect with a cross that floors Requiao. A solid kick bruises the leg of Santiago Requiao. Round 3 is over.
