Round 1
Solis parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. "King Kong" follows with a falling punch into Raul Soliss guard. Carlson pulls out of the guard of Raul Solis, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Raul Solis. "King Kong" takes advantage of a mental laps from Raul and moves into full mount. "Kumite" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "King Kong" peppers Raul Solis with several shots to the face. Solis starts to wiggle out of back control, "King Kong" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Benjamin works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Carlson escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Kumite" is hit with a cross and a liver shot and stumbles backward. Carlson explodes forward with at superman punch that drops "Kumite" to the canvas. Benjamin Carlson kicks at the legs of "Kumite" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Kumite" to stand. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "King Kong" works Solis into the cage from the clinch. "King Kong" presses his head under "Kumites" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Benjamin Carlson grabs the plum and pulls "Kumites" face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Benjamin Carlson lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "King Kong" hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. A welt begins to form under Benjamins eye after a strong cross-hook landed from "Kumite". "King Kong" circles Raul, landing jabs at will. Solis is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Benjamin explodes forward with a superman punch that drops Solis to the canvas. Carlson kicks at the legs of Solis and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Solis to stand. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
Raul tries to find his distance but Carlson is able to land two looping hooks that stun Raul, who warily backs away. Carlson connects with a hard punch making Solis bring him in to a tight clinch. An attempt at a clinch takedown from Carlson is defended well by Solis. Carlson grabs an overhook, steps to the side to land two haymaker body shots, then an uppercut. Carlson returns to the clinch. Benjamin Carlson works Solis into the cage from the clinch. Benjamin Carlson presses his head under "Kumites" chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "King Kong" grabs the plum and pulls Soliss face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. "King Kong" lets go of the hold and lands a hook. "King Kong" takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Raul to hit him harder. Raul Solis parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch.
