Round 1 Andrews is staggered by a jab to the chin. "Kumite" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Duan. Ong hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Duan takes a punch and goes to the mat, Andrews pounces into side control. Duan recovers quickly. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Duan connects with a hard punch making Ace Andrews bring him in to a tight clinch. Ace Andrews utilizes his dirty boxing, landing short but powerful hooks to the ribs and uppercuts to the chin of Duan. Ong Duan recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Ace throws a few jabs at Ong Duan that miss the mark. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Ong Duan directs the head of Ace leading to a stiff knee to the face. Ong tries to break away from the clinch to no avail. Ace Andrews has him on lockdown, peppering him with stiff shots. Ace attempts a lazy shot from the tie up, Ong Duan capitalizes by taking his back. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Ong Duan throws a crisp jab, but Andrews slips it and moves in for the clinch. Ong is hit by successive knees on either side of his ribcage. Andrews pushes Ong into the cage. Ong works a whizzer and attempts to turn Andrews but Andrews illegally grabs the cage for leverage. The referee sees it and breaks the clinch for a restart. The fighters clinch and begin to dirty box, landing uppercuts to the body and face. Ace gets the better of the exchange, and Ong Duan circles away to avoid any more damage. "Kumite" pressures his opponent into clinching. Ace Andrews works Ong Duan into the cage from the clinch. Ace Andrews presses his head under Ong Duans chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Ace Andrews is jockeying for position in the clinch. "Kumite" executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. The round comes to an end.
