Round 1 Golubev eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Arsenio. Arsenio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Golubev. Arsenio Montoya takes the back of Golubev who works for a kimura. Arsenio Montoya pulls his arm out of the hold and push Golubev away. Arsenio circles Golubev, landing jabs at will. Arsenio Montoya fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Urie Golubev. Arsenio Montoya executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. Arsenio dodges a few strikes from Urie and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Golubev attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Montoya is too quick and takes half guard. Montoya slips out of half guard and into side control. Arsenio Montoya lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Arsenio Montoya wraps the arm of Urie behind his back and traps it. Arsenio Montoya pounds away with shots to the face. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Montoya connects with jab cross combination. Both fighters begin to exchange "Aldo" catches Urie Golubev with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Urie Golubev gather himself. Urie Golubev says he is ok and the fight continues. Arsenio ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Urie Golubev to the mat, and his back. Arsenio Montoya lands a double punch to the head of Golubev. Golubev starts to wiggle out of back control, Montoya lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Golubev connects with a jab cross combination. Montoya reaches down and trips Urie with a beautiful ankle pick. Montoya dives into his guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Arsenio Montoya connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Urie Golubev executes a single leg giving him the back of Montoya. Arsenio Montoya carefully protects himself from Golubevs strikes. Arsenio Montoya starts to wiggle out of back control, Golubev lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Arsenio Montoya snaps back the head of Golubev with a stiff jab. Urie Golubev takes down Arsenio, but remains standing over him. Round 3 comes to a close.
