Round 1 Slaters legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jim Douglas throws a combination of punches ducking and feinting return shots. Jim Douglas smiling with his hands down as he shuffles in and out. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A wild hook from Jim Douglas is ducked by Slater Collins who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Slater circles Jim Douglas, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Jim locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Slater Collins. Collins drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Kumite" sets a guillotine choke but Collins slips out at the last moment. Collins is now caught in guard. "Kumite" moves to half guard then is able to grab a butterfly guard, eventually working to standing. Collins parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. "Kumite" counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. "Kumite" throws a powerful cross that hits right on the button, putting Slater Collins down.
