Round 1 Branden lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Abdiesus Habibi. Branden counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. After dodging a jab, "Kumite" lands a kick to the ribs of Abdiesus who winces in pain. Branden presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Abdiesus to the mat. Branden stands back and waves Abdiesus up. "Diesel" parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Abdiesus Habibi throws a hard jab but "Kumite" throws a cross right over the top that knocks Abdiesus Habibi to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Diesel" attempts a striking combination, but Branden Cole forces the clinch. Abdiesus Habibi applies a standing armbar in the clinch to stop Branden from performing and offense. Cole grabs the plum and pulls Habibis face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Cole releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Branden is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Habibi. Habibi connects with a series of punches forcing Cole into a clinch. Branden stomps the feet of Abdiesus. Abdiesus throws a short elbow at Cole. While in the clinch Branden Cole pulls in "Diesel" and takes him down. Branden Cole impressively gets right into mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Branden Cole stomps the feet of Habibi. Habibi executes a an impressive greco-roman takedown from the clinch, putting him in guard. "Kumite" is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Abdiesus. "Diesel" uses strikes to open Coles guard. "Diesel" stands up and waves Cole up. "Kumite" dodges a jab and clinches with Abdiesus, delivering a knee as he does so. Abdiesus connects with a hard punch making "Kumite" bring him in to a tight clinch. "Kumite" stomps the feet of Abdiesus Habibi. Abdiesus Habibi takes the back of Branden who works for a kimura. Abdiesus Habibi pulls his arm out of the hold and push Branden away. Round 3 comes to a close.
