Round 1 Kava circles "SMASH", landing jabs at will. Kava slips a cross from "SMASH" and lands an uppercut to the liver. Chael Bennett hits an uppercut to the head of Miko Kava followed by a hard hook. Miko is pressed into the cage by Chael Bennett. He is able to switch Chael Bennett into the cage and land a couple of looping hooks before backing away. "SMASH" is struck by some looping punches and kicks and goes for the clinch to shorten the distance. Miko Kava welcomes the clinch landing a lead knee and a powerful elbow. Then pushes "SMASH" back to striking distance. Kava loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Chael Bennett for the mistake. Chael Bennett has side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters begin to exchange Chael Bennett catches Miko with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Miko gather himself. Miko says he is ok and the fight continues. Both fighters begin to exchange Chael Bennett catches Miko Kava with an eye poke. A few well timed strikes from Chael puts Miko on the mat giving his back up. Chael Bennett slides off to the side of Miko and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Chael Bennett switches back to full back control. Kava tries to stand up but Bennett plants him back down with several strikes. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Kava circles "SMASH", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Chael lands a jab, but it is returned by a sick uppercut from Kava. A running flurry from Chael Bennett is countered by a shovel punch to the jaw. Kava then grabs the plum and throws Chael Bennett to the ground, immediately striking Chael Bennetts thighs. Miko Kava lays into "SMASHs" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Chael Bennett does so. Chael attempts a takedown but slips, and Miko Kava backs away. Miko Kava is standing over Chael. Miko lays into Bennetts thighs with some well timed kicks while "SMASH" is grounded. Miko Kava lays into Chael Bennetts thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Bennett does so. "SMASH" connects with jab cross combination. Miko Kava is cornered by "SMASH" who tries to press the action. Miko Kava is able to block well and circles away from "SMASH", delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Round 3 is finished.
