Round 1
Mark tries to hyperextend the knee of Santiago Requiao with a kick to the kneecap. Santiago Requiao hops back to avoid it. Barrett feints and follows up with a hard cross. Requiao stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Barrett connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Mark Barrett connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Santiago is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Santiago can continue. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Mark Barrett takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Santiago to hit him harder. The bell signals the end of round 1.

Round 2
Requiao throws an axe kick that misses the target. Mark Barrett hits an uppercut to the head of Requiao followed by a hard hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Santiago continually moves away from Mark Barrett, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. Santiago Requiao tries to find his distance but Mark is able to land two looping hooks that stun Santiago Requiao, who warily backs away. The round comes to an end.

Round 3
Mark Barrett grabs for a clinch but Santiago Requiao grazes him with an uppercut. Mark Barrett staggers back, then surprises Santiago Requiao with a powerful superman punch. Santiago Requiao tries to find his distance but Barrett is able to land two looping hooks that stun Santiago Requiao, who warily backs away. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Santiago connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Santiago is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Mark Barrett prepares to pounce, but Santiago gets his bearings just in time. Round 3 is finished.
