Round 1 "Kuumiteee" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A welt begins to form under Rossboroughs eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Arsenio Montoya. Arsenio Montoya ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Derrick Rossborough to the mat, and his back. Arsenio Montoya tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Derrick starts to wiggle out of back control, "Aldo" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Derrick winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Derrick connects with a jab cross combination. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters begin to exchange Arsenio catches "Kuumiteee" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Kuumiteee" gather himself. "Kuumiteee" says he is ok and the fight continues. "Aldo" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Derrick. Rossborough takes Arsenios back standing. Rossborough lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Montoya is able to work his way back around. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Arsenio Montoya places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Rossborough hip tosses Montoya over with an underhook, landing into half guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Aldo" tries to hyperextend the knee of Derrick Rossborough with a kick to the kneecap. Derrick Rossborough hops back to avoid it. Montoya stuffs a shot from Rossborough and hits him with an outside body shot. Rossborough gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. "Kuumiteee" attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Arsenio is staggered by a jab to the chin. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Aldo" cannot pick up Derrick Rossborough who is too strong for his throws. "Aldo" opts to use a valley drop and floors Derrick Rossborough. "Aldo" remains standing. "Aldo" drops a huge strike to Derrick Rossboroughs chin, landing into his guard. Round 3 comes to a close.
