Round 1 "Aldo" eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Habibi. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Habibi places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Habibi takes the back of Montoya who works for a kimura. Habibi pulls his arm out of the hold and push Montoya away. Abdiesus throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Arsenio Montoya is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters begin to exchange Abdiesus Habibi catches Arsenio with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Arsenio gather himself. Arsenio says he is ok and the fight continues. Arsenio Montoya throws a cross that easily dodged by Abdiesus Habibi. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Abdiesus circles "Aldo", mixing jabs with body shots. Habibi narrowly dodges a cross from Arsenio, but falls catching him in his guard. Habibi is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Arsenio. "Aldo" pushes down Abdiesus Habibis leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "Diesel" attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. "Diesel" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Abdiesus starts to wiggle out of back control, "Aldo" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Abdiesus Habibi sprawls a takedown attempt from Arsenio Montoya. Arsenio Montoya eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Habibi throws a hard jab but Montoya throws a cross right over the top rocking Habibi. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 "Aldos" legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Montoya catches a leg kick from Abdiesus Habibi, and puts him on the mat. Arsenio Montoya takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Abdiesuss guard. It doesn't pay off as Abdiesus makes his way to standing. Arsenio circles Abdiesus Habibi, mixing jabs with body shots. Arsenio Montoya connects with a series of punches forcing Habibi into a clinch. Arsenio grabs the plum and tosses Abdiesus Habibi to the ground. "Aldo" stands over Abdiesus, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Abdiesus cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 3 comes to a close.
