Round 1 Assis Belfort connects with jab cross combination. Jay keeps Assis at a distance with some well timed jabs. A lazy leg kick from Jay is caught by "Thicker Than Oatmeal" who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Jay. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" kicks at the legs of Jay Kim and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Jay Kim to stand. Assis parries Jay Kims jab and connect with a cross that floors Kim. "Thicker Than Oatmeal" dances around Kims legs and throws a hard kick to the body. Round 2 Belfort slips a cross from Kim and lands jab cross to the body. Assis Belfort gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Jay Kim peppers shot to the head of "Thicker Than Oatmeal" looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but "Thicker Than Oatmeal" is hand playing well. Belfort slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Kim moves in to press the action, but "Thicker Than Oatmeal" lands a heavy back kick. Round 3 Assis Belfort parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. Kim follows with a falling punch into "Thicker Than Oatmeals" guard. Belfort begins to posture on his side. Kim lands a couple of outside hooks and Belfort returns to the guard. Assis Belfort attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Assis Belfort gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Kumite BAE" peppers shot to the head of Assis Belfort looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Assis Belfort is hand playing well. Assis starts to wiggle out of back control, "Kumite BAE" lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Kumite BAE" receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Assis. "Kumite BAE" fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Assis up for a flurry of hooks. Jay Kim parries "Thicker Than Oatmeals" jab and lands a liver shot that buckles Assis. Assis rolls to his back with Jay Kim standing over him. "Kumite BAE" kicks at the legs of "Thicker Than Oatmeal" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Thicker Than Oatmeal" to stand. The round comes to an end.
