Round 1 Lafromboise is brought to his back by a well executed takedown from Dean. Dean now has side control. Dean slides his knee across the body of Max Lafromboise and takes full mount. Dean maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Max gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Dean Lindsey peppers Max Lafromboise with several shots to the face. Max Lafromboise starts to wiggle out of back control, Dean Lindsey lets him escape putting them both on their feet. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Lafromboise connects with a hard jab as Dean Lindsey attempts a wide outside hook. Max Lafromboise narrowly dodges a cross from Lindsey, but falls catching him in his guard. A right hand from Maxs guard angers Dean who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Dean covers Max Lafromboises mouth. As he opens his guard Dean is able to move to half guard. Max holds the head of Dean close to avoid shots. Dean slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Max tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Max Lafromboise hits an upward elbow on Lindsey, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Lindsey takes side control. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Dean Lindsey connects with jab cross combination. Lafromboise catches a leg kick from Dean, and puts him on the mat. Dean Lindsey grabs the arm of Max while in guard and holds tight eating shots to ribs. Lafromboise postures up from guard looking for punches but Dean grabs both his hands and stretches him out. Using his momentum against him Dean back somersaults bringing Lafromboise with him ending with Dean having full mount. Dean Lindsey secures his position. Lafromboise lands a good elbow as Dean Lindsey lowers his torso. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
