Round 1
Abel fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Franca to the cage. Franca swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Hector is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Abel. Franca backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Hector gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Hector Franca carefully protects himself from Abel Blairs strikes. Abel slides to the side and spanks the butt of Hector Franca in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
Abel hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Hector Franca. Franca is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Abel Blair wraps the arm of Hector Franca behind his back and traps it. Abel Blair pounds away with shots to the face. Abel delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Hector to turn over. Abel takes the back. Franca carefully protects himself from Blairs strikes. Franca tries to stand up but Abel Blair plants him back down with several strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

A jab from Hector Franca is blocked and a cross is returned by Abel Blair. Hector Franca throws a push kick. Abel Blair shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Francas nose.
