Round 1 Wood is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Shannon Wood connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Nilsen. Nilsen throws a hard jab but Shannon Wood throws a cross right over the top that knocks Nilsen to the ground. Shannon kicks at the legs of Markus Nilsen and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Markus Nilsen to stand. Nilsen is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Markus thrusts his leg into Shannons knee while grounded. Shannon Wood cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Markus back to his feet. Markus unleashes a flurry of punches on Wood. Markus Nilsen connects with a strong body shot combo. Round 2 Wood keeps Markus at a distance with some well timed jabs. Shannon lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Markus Nilsen. Nilsen connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Shannon who falls to the ground. Nilsen waves him back to his feet. Markus Nilsen connects with a teep to the face of Wood. Markus circles Shannon, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Nilsen connects with jab cross combination. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Wood throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Markus is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Markus Nilsen feints and follows up with a hard cross. Shannon stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Nilsen takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Shannon looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Nilsen lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Round 3 is over.
