Round 1 Sotiropoulos winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Tank connects with a hard punch making Rauf bring him in to a tight clinch. Rauf Sotiropoulos drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Tank Frazier sets a guillotine choke but Rauf Sotiropoulos slips out at the last moment. Rauf Sotiropoulos is now caught in guard. Frazier attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Sotiropoulos moves in to press the action, but Tank Frazier lands a heavy back kick. Tank connects with a teep to the face of Sotiropoulos. Sotiropoulos connects with a hard jab as Tank Frazier attempts a wide outside hook. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Rauf shoots for a single leg but Frazier is able to hop away, defending well. Rauf takes the opportunity to execute a difficult double-ankle pick. Rauf Sotiropoulos drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Frazier backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Sotiropoulos throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Touchdown Tommy" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Rauf dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Rauf is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. Rauf trips Frazier to the floor, landing in side control. Tank takes a few knees to the body while under Raufs side control. Tank Frazier gives his back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Rauf Sotiropoulos spins around to take it, Tank Frazier makes his way back to his feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Frazier lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Rauf Sotiropoulos circling away. "Touchdown Tommy" parries Raufs jab and connect with a cross. "Touchdown Tommy" bounces up and down keeping his distance from Sotiropoulos. "Touchdown Tommy" quickly spins with a low roundhouse kick that sweeps out the legs of Sotiropoulos. As Sotiropoulos tries to keep his balance "Touchdown Tommy" spins again with a higher spinning roundhouse kick that misses the head. Sotiropoulos jumps back to the feet. Rauf moves in to press the action, but Tank Frazier lands a heavy back kick. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Frazier but Sotiropoulos is able to muscle through for a takedown, finishing in half guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
