Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Bradley Couture loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Abel Blair for the mistake. Abel Blair has side control. Blair attempts an armbar, but Bradley Couture stops the attempt. Blair uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Couture arches his body up to buck off Blair from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Bradley circles Blair, landing jabs at will. Bradley Couture lands a double jab. "The Mark of Cain" shoots in and grabs a single leg. Couture hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing "The Mark of Cain" to release the attempt. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Abel Blair reaches down and trips Bradley Couture with a beautiful ankle pick. Abel Blair dives into back control. "The Mark of Cain" peppers Couture with several shots to the face. Couture starts to wiggle out of back control, Abel Blair lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Bradley is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Abel slides his knee across the body of Bradley Couture and takes full mount. Bradley Couture lands a good elbow as "The Mark of Cain" lowers his torso. Bradley Couture lands a good elbow as Abel lowers his torso.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Abel Blair fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Bradley to the cage. Bradley swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. "The Mark of Cain" tries to move to half guard but Bradley Couture uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Abel Blair drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Blair lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Abel slides his knee across the body of Bradley and takes full mount. Abel Blair punishes Couture with a series of strikes from the mount. Bradley Couture pulls his leg out from under "The Mark of Cain" and gets back to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
