Round 1 Lambert connects with a hard punch making Rusty Lefebvre bring him in to a tight clinch. Jack works to Rusty Lefebvres back while standing. Jack throws a couple of outside shots until Rusty is able to work his way back to the clinch. Jack dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Rusty Lefebvre standing over him. Rusty attempts to drop a fist on Jack Lambert, but misses and lands in his guard. Lambert shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Jack fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Lefebvre. Jack Lambert locks a kimura and forces Rusty Lefebvre to defend. Jack Lambert settles for a couple of cross-body chops to Rusty Lefebvres temple. Jack Lambert gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Jack Lambert connects with a series of punches forcing Rusty Lefebvre into a clinch. Jack works Rusty into the cage from the clinch. Jack presses his head under Lefebvres chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Rusty attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Jack Lambert pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Lefebvre is met with a cross and a liver shot that staggers him. Jack explodes with a flurry of punches. Lefebvre is then thrown to the floor. Jack Lambert stands over Lefebvre, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Lefebvre is able to grab an arm and pull Jack Lambert into his guard. Lambert takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Rusty Lefebvres guard. It doesn't pay off as Lefebvre makes his way to standing. Jack Lambert catches a leg kick from Rusty, and puts him on the mat. Lambert knocks the wind out of Rusty with a strong elbow strike to the abdomen. Jack Lambert drops a few strong punches, opening up Rusty Lefebvres guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Lefebvre locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Jack Lambert. Jack places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Jack Lambert dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Rusty Lefebvre standing over him. Rusty attempts to drop a fist on Jack Lambert, but misses and lands in his guard. Lambert fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Rusty Lefebvre. Lambert connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Rusty drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Rusty frees a leg and moves into half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
