Round 1
Nelson connects with a right that puts Yuri off balance tumbling to the mat, as Nelson towers over him. Nelson Thompson drops a huge strike to Yuri Garcias chin, landing into his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Thompson across the face. Thompson lands a series of return strikes. Nelson passes through Yuri Garcias guard into mount. Nelson Thompson maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Garcia gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nelson Thompson lands a series of heavy punches forcing Yuri to roll to his back, giving Nelson Thompson mount. Garcia throws a leg off and reaches around the back of "Love and Affection" capturing back control.Round 1 comes to a close.

Round 2
Yuri stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Yuri Garcia gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "Love and Affection" is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Nelson maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Yuri Garcia gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Love and Affection" lands a double punch to the head of Yuri. Yuri Garcia tries to stand up but Thompson plants him back down with several strikes. The bell signals the end of round 2.

Round 3
"Love and Affection" catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Yuri Garcia. "Love and Affection" drops a huge strike to Garcias chin, landing into his guard. Yuri Garcia connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Nelson passes through Yuris guard into mount. Nelson maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Garcia gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Garcia rolls back into being mounted. Nelson is pulled in tight, and then switched over on his back. Yuri is now caught in Nelson Thompsons guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
