Round 1 "Rudy" presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling Semmy Marquering to the mat. "Rudy" follows him into the guard. Ron drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Ron takes advantage of a mental laps from Marquering and moves into full mount. Semmy gets pummeled by the fists of Ron Hamilton. Semmy gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Semmy Marquering carefully protects himself from "Rudys" strikes. Semmy Marquering is able to make it back to the standing position. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Semmy Marquering attempts to grab the plum but is met by an overhand punch from Ron Hamilton. Marquering attempts a takedown from the clinch, but "Rudy" pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Semmy is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Hamilton drops a powerful fist onto Semmy. Semmy Marquerings eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
