Round 1 A welt begins to form under "Young Nastymans" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Vasquez. "Young Nastyman" narrowly dodges a cross from Vasquez, but falls catching him in his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Ale across the face. Ale lands a series of return strikes. Ale presses the action while in the guard, but Harvey is able to switch him into mount. Harvey secures his position. Ale pulls his leg out from under Guy and gets back to half guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Guy Harvey feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Vasquez. Guy Harvey dives into guard. Ale Vasquez is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Ale Vasquezs guard and Guy is able to move to half guard. "Young Nastyman" wraps the arm of Ale behind his back and traps it. "Young Nastyman" pounds away with shots to the face. Harvey tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Guy hits Ale with some punches to the side of the head. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Harvey works to Vasquezs back while standing. Harvey throws a couple of outside shots until Ale is able to work his way back to the clinch. Guy Harvey takes Vasquezs back standing. Ale Vasquez isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Guy Harvey lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Ale Vasquez to release. Vasquez connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ale Vasquez throws a cross that easily dodged by Guy Harvey. Harvey throws a cross that easily dodged by Ale Vasquez. A lazy leg kick from Ale Vasquez is caught by Guy Harvey who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Ale Vasquez. Harvey stands over Vasquez, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Vasquez cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 3 comes to a close.
