Round 1 Semer takes a punch while shooting but executes the takedown and ends up in Aitor Morenos guard. Semer Mengesha distracts Aitor Moreno with some peppering shots. Semer Mengesha then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Aitor Moreno is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. "Torque Master" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Mengesha slips out of half guard and into side control. Semer drops some hammer fists on Aitor. "Torque Master" is caught in side control. Mengesha waits for the proper moment and locks an arm triangle. "Torque Master" beings to struggle, but the hold is too tight and he taps.
