Round 1 A wild hook from "Dirtyboy" is ducked by Lemmens who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Jonathan connects with a series of punches forcing Daniel into a clinch. Duarte receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Lemmens. Jonathan places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Lemmens takes the back of Daniel who works for a kimura. Lemmens pulls his arm out of the hold and push Daniel away. Daniel tries to find his distance but Lemmens is able to land two looping hooks that stun Daniel, who warily backs away. "Dirtyboy" circles to the right. Jonathan Lemmens hits a hard spinning back kick to the body. Lemmens parries Daniel Duartes jab and lands an uppercut. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Daniel Duarte stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Duarte is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Duarte can continue. Jonathan Lemmens locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Daniel Duarte. Jonathan places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Daniel Duarte receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Duarte takes Jonathans back standing. Jonathan Lemmens isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Duarte lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Jonathan Lemmens to release. Jonathan Lemmens presses forward, grabbing the plum and lands a strong hook, buckling "Dirtyboy" to the mat. Jonathan Lemmens stands back and waves "Dirtyboy" up. Lemmens unleashes a flurry of punches on Duarte. Jonathan connects with a jab, plants his left hand on the ground and pushes up smashing Daniels head with a cartwheel kick. Jonathan Lemmens lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Duarte is able to press Jonathan to the cage, forcing a momentary clinch. Jonathan wriggles out of the clinch and throws looping hooks to back Duarte off. "Dirtyboy" moves in to press the action, but Jonathan lands a heavy back kick. Duarte is hit with a cross and a liver shot and stumbles backward. Jonathan explodes forward with at superman punch that drops Duarte to the canvas. Jonathan lays into Daniel Duartes thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. "Dirtyboy" does so. Jonathan connects with a right that puts Daniel Duarte off balance tumbling to the mat, as Jonathan towers over him. Daniel thrusts his leg into Jonathan Lemmenss knee while grounded. Lemmens cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Daniel back to his feet. Duarte hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Round 3 is finished.
