Round 1 Artur loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Macdonald for the mistake. Macdonald has side control. Macdonald slides his knee across the body of "Baby Beatle" and takes full mount. Hunter executes a double hand slap to the ears of "Baby Beatle". "Baby Beatle" gets pummeled by the fists of Hunter. "Baby Beatle" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Hunter locks in a body triangle as he takes shots at "Baby Beatle". Macdonald slides off to the side of "Baby Beatle" and lands several heavy knees into his ribs. Before he can lose the position, Macdonald switches back to full back control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Artur Gomolka hits an uppercut to the head of Hunter followed by a hard hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Hunter Macdonald takes the back of Artur who works for a kimura. Hunter Macdonald pulls his arm out of the hold and push Artur away. Gomolka throws a cross that easily dodged by Hunter Macdonald. Macdonald throws a crisp jab, but Artur Gomolka slips it and moves in for the clinch. "Baby Beatle" attempts to grab the plum but Macdonald takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down "Baby Beatle". Gomolka shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Gomolkas guard and Hunter is able to move to half guard. Hunter presses his foot onto the thigh of "Baby Beatle" to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Hunter Macdonald attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from "Baby Beatle" for his troubles. Gomolka is able to get back to full guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Hunter connects with a strong body shot combo. Macdonald connects with a series of punches forcing Artur Gomolka into a clinch. "Baby Beatle" hops up throwing his leg over Hunters arm. He locks a triangle choke, bringing Macdonald to the mat. Macdonald slips out of the hold. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Hunter but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Baby Beatle" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Artur. Hunter Macdonald is able to pull him into his guard. The round comes to an end.
