Round 1 Tewodros Getahun connects with a jab cross combination. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Lionel grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that cuts Getahun under the eye. Lionel Figueroa stomps the feet of Getahun. Tewodros Getahun recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Tewodros Getahun connects with a series of punches forcing Figueroa into a clinch. Figueroa works to Getahuns back while standing. Figueroa throws a couple of outside shots until Tewodros is able to work his way back to the clinch. A strong elbow forces Tewodros to lose his balance and fall to the floor. As Tewodros attempts to keep Lionel in front of him, Lionel grabs Tewodross ankle and viciously lays into his thigh with multiple kicks. Lionel Figueroa lays into Tewodros Getahuns thighs with some well timed kicks while Tewodros Getahun is grounded. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Tewodros circles Lionel, landing jabs and crosses at will. Tewodros Getahun hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Figueroa. Tewodros Getahun ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Lionel Figueroa to the mat, and his back. Lionel Figueroa carefully protects himself from Tewodross strikes. Lionel is able to make it back to the standing position. Tewodros Getahun hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Getahun throws a few jabs at Lionel that miss the mark. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Lionel Figueroa takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Lionel Figueroa throws a push kick. Tewodros Getahun shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Lionel Figueroas nose.
Getahun throws a few jabs at Figueroa that miss the mark. Lionel throws a hard jab but Tewodros Getahun throws a cross right over the top that knocks out Lionel.
