Round 1 Gage McConomy reaches down and trips Oscarito Bozano with a beautiful ankle pick. Gage McConomy dives into his guard. McConomy attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Oscarito slips out of it at the last moment. McConomy drops some elbows from guard, giving him a brief moment to switch over to side control. Gage McConomy attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Bozano for his troubles. McConomy slides his knee across the body of Bozano and takes full mount. Gage McConomy lands a double punch to the head of Oscarito Bozano. Bozano shifts his head and hips to keep Gage McConomy off balance and unable to land strikes. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Oscarito takes down Gage, but remains standing over him. Oscarito stands over McConomy, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. McConomy is able to grab an arm and pull Oscarito into his guard. A strong chopping strike hits Oscarito across the face. Oscarito lands a series of return strikes. McConomy attempts a few a shots from the guard, but gets mounted for his troubles. Bozano executes a double hand slap to the ears of McConomy. McConomy gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Oscarito lands a series of heavy punches forcing Gage to roll to his back, giving Oscarito mount. Oscarito Bozano maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Gage throws a hard jab but Oscarito Bozano throws a cross right over the top rocking Gage. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Oscarito attempts a takedown from the clinch, but McConomy pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Bozano sprawls a takedown attempt from McConomy. McConomy eats several punches on the way back to his feet. Oscarito fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Gage. Oscarito is in the clinch with Gage McConomy, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Bozano sits up and fakes a double axehandle to the face, instead striking the body. Gage pulls Bozano close while he regains his breath. Gage works for a triangle but Oscarito throws McConomys straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Oscarito Bozano slips out of half guard and into side control. Bozano lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Bozano delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing McConomy to turn over. Bozano takes the back. Round 3 comes to a close.
