Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Jon takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Torben Arona to hit him harder. Jon Moody is staggered by a jab to the chin. Moody lands a double jab. Jon Moody attempts a takedown, but Torben clumsily falls down without much provocation. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Arona fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Jon Moody to the cage. Jon Moody swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Jon attempts to transition to the butterfly guard but Torben is too quick and takes half guard. Torben is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Jon Moody pulls Torben close to avoid a flurry of strikes. Jon Moody gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Torben slides to the side and spanks the butt of Jon in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Moody tries to stand up but Arona plants him back down with several strikes. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Torben throws a few jabs at Jon Moody that miss the mark. Jon takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Moody attempts a lazy shot, which Torben Arona sprawls, eventually taking Moody back. Torben peppers Jon with several shots to the face. Jon Moody starts to wiggle out of back control, Arona lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Jon Moody connects with a strong body shot combo. Torben throws a hard jab but Jon throws a cross right over the top that knocks Torben to the ground. Round 3 is finished.
