Round 1 Daniel Harmon hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. Daniel Harmon gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Keith Flynn attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but "Alexander Gustafsson" rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Keith punishes "Alexander Gustafsson" with a series of strikes from the mount. Keith secures his position. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Harmon takes a punch and goes to the mat, Keith pounces into side control. Harmon recovers quickly. "Alexander Gustafsson" is wisely defending a kimura. Keith attempts to take it but "Alexander Gustafsson" is having none of it, though Keith has used the chance the slide into mount. Daniel arches his body up to buck off Flynn from mount. A scramble takes place leading to both fighters back to their feet. Keith throws a push kick. Round 3 Flynn dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Keith Flynn takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Keith connects with a series of punches forcing Daniel Harmon into a clinch. Keith Flynn drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "Alexander Gustafsson" sets a guillotine choke but Keith Flynn slips out at the last moment. Keith Flynn is now caught in guard. Harmon attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Harmon connects with a strong right hook. Both fighters begin to exchange "Alexander Gustafsson" catches Keith Flynn with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Keith Flynn gather himself. Keith Flynn says he is ok and the fight continues. Daniel Harmon connects with a hard punch making Keith bring him in to a tight clinch. Flynn drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Round 5 A looping right hook from Daniel sends Keith to the mat. Daniel drops a huge strike to Flynns chin, landing into his guard. Flynn is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Flynn sinks a deep kimura, but Daniel Harmon slides out. This gives Flynn the chance to switch to half guard. Flynn pops his head under the arm of Harmon reaches down and grabs the foot. Wrenches up for a calf lock. Harmon rolls out of the attempt. Both fighters are standing. Flynn winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Daniel Harmon stuffs a shot from Keith and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Keith starts to create some distance with his legs, Daniel capitalizes by passing to side control. Flynn takes a few knees to the body while under "Alexander Gustafssons" side control. Round 5 comes to a close.
