Round 1 Chun slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Gautheir to the ground. Chun works for a reverse heel hook but cannot finish and opts to enter "Go Gos" guard. Xia snatches a leg and wrenches back for an ankle lock. Lou Gautheir defends well so the lock changes to a heel hook. Xia rotates into a very tight knee bar but Lou Gautheir wiggles out to his feet. "Go Go" is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. Lou Gautheir begins to posture on his side. Xia lands a couple of outside hooks and Lou Gautheir returns to the guard. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Go Go" connects with a hard punch making Xia bring him in to a tight clinch. "Go Go" lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Lou Gautheir escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Go Go" feints and follows up with a hard cross. Xia stalks forward paws away with a couple jabs missing the mark. Chun Xia winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Lou takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows Lou to move into the guard of Chun Xia. "Go Go" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard.Round 3 comes to a close.
