Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Eh" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Norm grabs the plum and pull Norio Sugais face towards a knee which is blocked. Norm take the opportunity to drag Norio to the ground and takes side control. Norm Ryder slides his knee across the body of "Argentina" and takes full mount. Ryder splits Norios nose open with a well timed punch. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Norm Ryder connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Argentina". Sugai throws a cross that easily dodged by Norm. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Ryder fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "Argentina" to the cage. "Argentina" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Norio Sugais guard and Norm is able to move to half guard. Ryder is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Eh" splits Norios nose open with a well timed punch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Sugai attempts a takedown but slips, and Ryder backs away. Ryder is standing over Sugai. Norm attempts to drop a fist on Norio, but misses and lands in his guard. "Argentina" is cut under his eye by a hard overhand from Norm while utilizing the guard. Norm Ryder drops a few strong punches, opening up Norio Sugais guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. "Eh" lands a double punch to the head of Norio Sugai. Norio gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Norio Sugai panics and gives up mount instead. Ryder executes a double hand slap to the ears of "Argentina". The round comes to an end.
