Cross throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Diez. Diez lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Cross on his back. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A welt begins to form under Rodrigos eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Cross. Butch Cross hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Butch Cross lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Rodrigo. A welt begins to form under Butch Crosss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Diez. Rodrigo circles Butch Cross, landing jabs at will. Cross swaying back and forth with Balanco plants front foot while throwing hands and head to the ground like a cartwheel while floating over with a Meia Lua Reversao kick to the head of Diez. Butch Cross parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Cross connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Rodrigo. Butch begins the ginga dance while his opponent circles. Rodrigo connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Butch Cross stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out.Round 3 comes to a close.
