Round 1 Andrei Barragan snaps back the head of Kyle Brewer with a stiff jab. Kyle Brewer lands a hook to the body. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. The fighters circle each other. Kyle throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Andrei is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Andrei is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Brewer connects with a right that puts Andrei off balance tumbling to the mat, as Brewer towers over him. Brewer stands over Andrei, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Andrei is able to grab an arm and pull Brewer into his guard. Brewer drops a few strong punches, opening up Andrei Barragans guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Andrei gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Brewer peppers shot to the head of Andrei Barragan looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Andrei Barragan is hand playing well. Kyle attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Andrei Barragan rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it.Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Brewer connects with a hard punch making Andrei bring him in to a tight clinch. Kyle is jockeying for position in the clinch. Andrei takes Kyle Brewers back standing, but Kyle Brewer isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Andrei squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Barragan is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Kyle Brewer prepares to pounce, but Barragan gets his bearings just in time. Kyle Brewer drops a huge strike to Andrei Barragans chin, landing into his guard. Brewer sits up in Andreis open guard and spins to an leg lock. Andrei is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces Barragan back to the cage. Kyle Brewer swims to double underhooks. Barragan cannot stop Kyle Brewer from stepping back and taking him to the floor. A right hand from Andreis guard angers Brewer who returns the favor with a powerful left hand. Andrei Barragan begins to posture on his side. Kyle lands a couple of outside hooks and Andrei Barragan returns to the guard. Round 3 is finished.
