Round 1 Palmer stuffs a shot from Ryo Shimamura and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Ryo Shimamura is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. George Palmer takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Shimamuras guard. It doesn't pay off as Shimamura makes his way to standing. Ryo throws a cross that easily dodged by George. George hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. George Palmer wraps around "Vietnams" waist, and drags him to his back, taking side control Ryo Shimamura takes a few knees to the body while under George Palmers side control. Round 2 George hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Shimamura. Palmer connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Shimamura. "Vietnam" fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. George Palmer quickly takes his back. George works his arm around the neck of "Vietnam" attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but "Vietnam" hand fights well. Ryo slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Palmer throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Vietnam" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. George snaps back the head of Ryo with a stiff jab. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 "Vietnam" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Ryo Shimamura hits an uppercut to the head of Palmer followed by a hard hook. Shimamura throws a hard jab but Palmer throws a cross right over the top rocking Shimamura. A welt begins to form under Ryo Shimamuras eye after a strong cross-hook landed from George Palmer. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Palmer gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The round comes to an end.
