Round 1
Jan Santiago grabs for a clinch but Chigbata Okiro grazes him with an uppercut. Jan Santiago staggers back, then surprises Chigbata Okiro with a powerful superman punch. Chigbata Okiro connects with a hard punch making Jan Santiago bring him in to a tight clinch. Santiago drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Chigbata sets a guillotine choke but Santiago slips out at the last moment. Santiago is now caught in guard. Okiro attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Chigbata locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Jan Santiago. Chigbata Okiro grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow that puts Jan on the floor. Chigbata Okiro lays into Jan Santiagos thighs with some well timed kicks while Santiago is grounded. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Chigbata Okiro takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Jan to hit him harder. After dodging a jab-cross, Chigbata lands a kick to the liver of Jan who steps back and begins to take a knee. Chigbata rushes forward to capitalize but Jan stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Jan Santiago attempts to clinch, but Okiro connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
A wild hook from Chigbata is ducked by Santiago who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Jan connects with numerous jabs to the face of Chigbata Okiro. Okiro connects with numerous jabs to the face of Santiago. Chigbata loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Jan for the mistake. Jan has side control. The round comes to an end.
