Round 1 A welt begins to form under Josip Zupans eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Wojtek Gomolka. Josip Zupan fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Gomolka to the cage. Gomolka swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Wojtek Gomolka is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Josip Zupan. Zupan frees a leg and moves into half guard. Zupan tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Josip presses his foot onto the thigh of Wojtek to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Josip delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Gomolka to turn over. Josip takes the back. Gomolka slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. A couple of powerful body shots forces Wojtek back to the cage. Josip swims to double underhooks. Wojtek cannot stop Josip from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Gomolka connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Josip connects with a jab cross combination. Josip dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Zupan tries to hyperextend the knee of Wojtek Gomolka with a kick to the kneecap. Wojtek Gomolka hops back to avoid it. Gomolka pushes Josip Zupan into the cage after a double jab connects. Gomolka begins throwing a series of jabs, crosses and shovel punches until Josip Zupan is slumped bloodied and unconscious in the corner.
