Round 1 Capella blocks a hook cross combo but is pushed backward. Lindsey tries to press the action but is met with a hook, uppercut that keeps him at bay. "Lithuanian Nightmare" catches a leg kick from Preston, and puts him on the mat. German Capella backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Lindsey throws a hard jab but Capella throws a cross right over the top rocking Lindsey. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Lithuanian Nightmare" grabs the plum and tosses Lindsey to the ground. "Lithuanian Nightmare" kicks at the legs of Preston and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Preston to stand. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Lindsey counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Preston Lindsey parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross that sends him to the canvas. German follows with a falling punch into Preston Lindseys guard. Preston Lindsey backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Preston Lindsey hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. "Lithuanian Nightmare" connects with a hard punch making Preston Lindsey bring him in to a tight clinch. A strong elbow forces Preston to lose his balance and fall to the floor. German Capella stands over Lindsey, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Lindsey is able to grab an arm and pull German Capella into his guard. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Lindsey starts to put on the pressure, forcing German Capella back into the cage. Lindsey takes advantage and clinches. Capella drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Preston Lindsey sets a guillotine choke but Capella slips out at the last moment. Capella is now caught in guard. Preston attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. German Capella takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has "Lithuanian Nightmare" stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. Preston Lindsey gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
