Round 2 Arminio Oliviera connects with a series of punches forcing Mitchell into a clinch. Arminio works Heath into the cage from the clinch. Arminio presses his head under Heaths chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Arminio Oliviera escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Heath connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Arminio hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Mitchell winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Mitchell throws a hard jab but Arminio throws a cross right over the top that knocks Mitchell to the ground. Arminio drops a huge strike to Heath Mitchells chin, landing into his guard. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Arminio Oliviera throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Heath Mitchell is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Oliviera fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Heath to the cage. Heath swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Arminio Oliviera attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Heath slips out of it at the last moment. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Heath Mitchells guard and Arminio Oliviera is able to move to half guard. Mitchell tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Oliviera wraps the arm of Heath behind his back and traps it. Oliviera pounds away with shots to the face. Oliviera presses his foot onto the thigh of Mitchell to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. The round comes to an end.
