Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Virgiliu catches Eric with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Eric gather himself. Eric says he is ok and the fight continues. "WANK" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Lupu circles "WANK", mixing jabs with body shots. Virgiliu Lupu connects with a strong body shot combo. Eric tries to shoot in but Virgiliu stuffs it and lifts Eric up. Eric flails to avoid a pile driver until Virgiliu simply dumps him off to the side and towers over him. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Patton connects with a hard jab as Virgiliu attempts a wide outside hook. Virgiliu Lupu throws a crisp jab, but "WANK" slips it and moves in for the clinch. Eric works Virgiliu into the cage from the clinch. Eric presses his head under Lupus chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Virgiliu Lupu works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Eric Patton continues to maintain the clinch, creating space often for strong elbows. Virgiliu Lupu pulls away from the clinch but is put to the mat by a series of punches from Eric. This fight is over.
