Round 1 Hampton connects with numerous jabs to the face of Moore. Kurt Hampton parries Moores jab and lands an uppercut. Moore throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Hampton puts Moore on the mat giving his back up. Ken tries to explode out the backdoor but Hampton sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Ken falls flat to protect himself. Moore starts to wiggle out of back control, Kurt Hampton lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Kurt Hampton dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Kurt parries Moores jab and connect with a cross. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Kurt circles Ken Moore, keeping him at bay with quick strikes. Kurt Hampton blocks a tight hook from Ken Moore and counters with a shovel punch and cross that has Ken Moore stumbling backwards. Kurt Hampton stalks him across the canvas. Moore connects with a jab cross combination. Ken Moores legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Kurt Hampton connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Moore. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Kurt feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Ken. Kurt Hampton counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Ken Moore throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Kurt Hampton puts Ken Moore on the mat giving his back up. Hampton peppers Ken with several shots to the face. Ken Moore starts to wiggle out of back control, Kurt Hampton lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A welt begins to form under Kens eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Hampton. Ken Moore is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Round 3 is over.
