Round 1 Boris Moens parries Pattersons jab and connect with a cross. Justin parries Boris Moenss jab and connect with a cross. Moens connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Moens hits an uppercut to the head of Patterson followed by a hard hook. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Patterson swaying back and forth with Balanco swings and pushes a Pisao kick to the head of Boris backing him away. Moens moves in to attack but is sent back by a Chapa de Costas spinning back kick technique to the midsection from Patterson. Moens dives in for a leg and threatens quickly with a leg lock. Patterson falls back to his back giving Moens the opening to jump into dominant half guard. Patterson uses the planted arm of Boris Moens to push off and get back to guard position. Justin Patterson begins to posture on his side. Boris Moens lands a couple of outside hooks and Justin Patterson returns to the guard. Boris pushes down Pattersons leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Boris slips out of half guard and into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 A trip to the ground allows Justin to move into the guard of Boris Moens. "NP" drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Moens attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Boris connects with a hard right hand putting Justin Patterson on the mat. Boris goes down with him into side control. Moens slides his knee across the body of Justin Patterson and takes full mount. Round 3 is over.
