Round 1 Rusty Ibbertson catches a leg kick from Miguel Angel Acosta, and puts him on the mat. Ibbertson forces Miguel Angels leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Rusty Ibbertson delivers knees to the body and sharp forearms to the head forcing Miguel Angel Acosta to turn over. Rusty Ibbertson takes the back. Round 2 Acosta catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Rusty. Miguel Angel throws a short kick to the downed Rusty Ibbertson. Rusty Ibbertson takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Rusty dives in for a leg lock attempt but Miguel Angel Acosta is having none of it and backs away. Miguel Angel hovers over Ibbertson pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Ibbertson sends a hard up kick that rocks Miguel Angel. Ibbertson stands back up. Miguel Angel connects with a hard jab as Rusty Ibbertson attempts a wide outside hook. Miguel Angel connects with a right that puts Ibbertson off balance tumbling to the mat, as Miguel Angel towers over him. Miguel Angel Acosta throws a short kick to the downed Rusty. Rusty takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Miguel Angel Acosta is hit with a jab and then taken down with a strong trip takedown. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Miguel Angel Acosta parries Ibbertsons jab and connect with a cross. Miguel Angel swaying back and forth with Balanco plants front foot while throwing hands and head to the ground like a cartwheel sending the back foot up and over connecting to the head of Rusty but the strike is partially blocked. Both fighters begin to exchange Miguel Angel catches Ibbertson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Ibbertson gather himself. Ibbertson says he is ok and the fight continues. Miguel Angel Acosta connects with a jab cross combination. Miguel Angel Acosta swaying back and forth with Balanco plants front foot while throwing hands and head to the ground like a cartwheel sending the both feet up and over connecting to the head of Rusty. A trip to the ground allows Rusty to move into the guard of Acosta. Round 3 is finished.
