Round 1 Owen Reid grabs a single leg and pushes Spencer to the fence. Both fighters are jockeying for positional control. Owen Reid switches to a double leg but Spencer does a good job of keeping his base. Ashton Spencer works to Owen Reids back while standing. Ashton Spencer throws a couple of outside shots until "I will catch you" is able to work his way back to the clinch. "I will catch you" takes Ashton Spencers back standing. Ashton Spencer isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but "I will catch you" lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Ashton Spencer to release. Ashton hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Reid eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Ashton Spencer. The fighters circle each other. Reid lands a hook and immediately shoots in, lifts Ashton up and dumps him over his shoulder in a powerful display. Reid turns quickly to capitalize but Ashton is quick to turn to his back while he recomposes. "I will catch you" drops a powerful fist onto Spencer. Spencers eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
