Round 1 Almeida connects with a hard punch making Okasawa bring him in to a tight clinch. Hideaki Okasawa works to Manuels back while standing. Hideaki Okasawa throws a couple of outside shots until Almeida is able to work his way back to the clinch. Manuel Almeida drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. "Viva " drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "JAPAN 9" is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Manuel falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Okasawa dodges some ground strikes from Manuel, and sends a few back of his own. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Almeida connects with a series of punches forcing Okasawa into a clinch. Hideaki Okasawa attempts to grab the plum but is kept off balance by Manuel Almeidas strikes. Manuel takes the back of "JAPAN 9" who works for a kimura. Manuel pulls his arm out of the hold and push "JAPAN 9" away. Hideaki is hit with a jab and then taken down by a beautiful single-leg takedown. "JAPAN 9" dodges some ground strikes from Manuel, and sends a few back of his own. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
