Round 1 Barragan catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Robert. Barragan drops a huge strike to Butlers chin, landing into his guard. Butler is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Barragan. Barragan passes through Robert Butlers guard into mount. Robert Butler lands a good elbow as Andrei lowers his torso. Robert Butler gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Andrei Barragan lays into Butler with some strong shots forcing Butler to give up mount position. Robert Butler attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Both fighters begin to exchange Robert catches Andrei with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Andrei gather himself. Andrei says he is ok and the fight continues. Andrei Barragan eats a strong cross as Robert Butler moves into the clinch. Butler works Andrei into the cage from the clinch. Butler presses his head under Andreis chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Andrei is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Robert Butler takes the back of Andrei who works for a kimura. Robert Butler pulls his arm out of the hold and push Andrei away. Barragan connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Andrei throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Robert Butler. Butler connects with numerous jabs to the face of Barragan. Barragan attempts to clinch, but Robert Butler connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Robert circles Barragan, mixing jabs with body shots. Robert connects with a series of punches forcing Andrei into a clinch. Andrei is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Barragan is on the recieving end of a series of knees to the midsecion. Butler takes the back of Andrei who works for a kimura. Butler pulls his arm out of the hold and push Andrei away. Robert Butler slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of Andrei. Robert Butler is staggered by a jab to the chin. A cross from Andrei is parried followed by an uppercut from Robert. Robert stuffs a shot from Andrei Barragan and hits him with an outside body shot. Andrei Barragan gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Round 3 is over.
