Round 1 Apollonios parries Vaughns jab and lands an uppercut. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Vaughn drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Stamos slides his body to the side and pushes out of guard. Gil grabs a guillotine hold and forces Stamos back down gaining side control. Apollonios Stamos gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Gil works his arm around the neck of Apollonios Stamos attempting to get a tight rear naked choke but Apollonios Stamos hand fights well. Gil Vaughn peppers shot to the head of Stamos looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Stamos is hand playing well. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Vaughn slides in and grabs a leg lock taking Stamos to the ground. Vaughn works for a reverse heel hook but cannot finish. A scramble insues and Stamos takes Gils guard. Gil forces Apollonioss leg down, giving him the chance to pass into side control. Gil lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Gil slides his knee across the body of Apollonios Stamos and takes full mount. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Apollonios Stamos connects with a hard punch making Gil Vaughn bring him in to a tight clinch. Apollonios works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Apollonios fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Gil Vaughn up for a flurry of hooks. Gil lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Vaughn weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Vaughn connects with a hard jab as Stamos attempts a wide outside hook. Gil lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from Apollonios that puts him on the floor. Stamos drops a powerful fist onto Vaughn. Gil Vaughns eyes roll back into his head, and this fight is over.
