Round 1 Murphy throws a push kick. Byrd shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Matthews nose.
Cru Byrd connects with a hard punch making Murphy bring him in to a tight clinch. Byrd places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Matthew receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Byrd. Cru fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Matthew up for a flurry of hooks. Cru throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Murphy is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Byrd slips a cross from Murphy and lands jab cross to the body. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Cru Byrd is dizzied on his feet from a furious punching sequence from Matthew Murphy. Cru Byrd circles Matthew, landing jabs and crosses at will. Byrd is staggered by a jab to the chin. Cru Byrd connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Murphy. A series of unanswered punches from Murphy forces the ref to stop the action.
