Round 1 The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. A trip to the ground allows Joey to move into the guard of Doug. Doug Daley shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Harvey attempts to drop bombs while caught in the guard, but Doug Daley takes the chance to switch Harvey over to mount him. Daley maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Harvey gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Doug Daley fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Joey Harvey. Joey Harvey receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Daley dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Joey Harvey standing over him. Joey Harvey attempts to drop a fist on Doug Daley, but misses and lands in his guard. Harvey tries to move to half guard but Daley uses the opportunity to land several strikes and return to full guard. Doug Daley begins to posture on his side. Harvey lands a couple of outside hooks and Doug Daley returns to the guard. Doug Daley is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Joey Harvey. A triangle attempt from Doug is defended by Joey Harvey posturing high in the guard. Doug swiftly switches to an armbar. Joey Harvey taps quickly.
