Round 1 Munro connects with a hard punch making Manuel Almeida bring him in to a tight clinch. Almeida works to Kennedys back while standing. Almeida throws a couple of outside shots until Munro is able to work his way back to the clinch. Manuel Almeida escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Viva " fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Kennedy Munro to the cage. Kennedy Munro swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Munros guard and Manuel is able to move to half guard. Kennedy tries to scramble out of half guard, but "Viva " takes his back during it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Manuel is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. Kennedy Munro explodes forward with a push kick that puts Manuel on the canvas. Munro kicks at the legs of Manuel and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Manuel to stand. After dodging a jab, Munro lands a kick to the liver of Almeida who steps back only to take a knee. Munro rushes forward to capitalize but Almeida falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. Kennedy Munro lays into "Viva s" thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Manuel Almeida does so. Kennedy connects with a hard punch making Manuel bring him in to a tight clinch. A stiff elbow looks to have Manuel Almeida dazed. Almeida attempts a knee but is taken down by a basic trip. "GRAPPLE" lands in half guard. Munro drops an elbow onto the forehead of Manuel Almeida. Kennedy drops an elbow onto the forehead of "Viva ". The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Viva " parries Kennedys jab and connect with a cross. Manuel sends Kennedy to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. "Viva " pulls out of the guard of Kennedy, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Kennedy. Manuel pushes down Kennedys leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Almeida is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Manuel Almeida telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Kennedy gives up his back to stop the attempt. Munro starts to wiggle out of back control, Manuel lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Manuel circles Kennedy Munro, landing jabs and crosses at will. Manuel Almeida stuffs a shot from "GRAPPLE" and hits him with a hard hook to the temple that leaves "GRAPPLE" motionless.
